Current Show Results --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAY 16, 2009 TO MAY 15, 2010 (See above) MAY 16, 2008 TO MAY 15, 2009 (Archived: Click Here) MAY 16,2007-MAY 15,2008 Season Scores (Archived: Click Here) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SWFDA Year End Award Guidelines & Requirements The following year end awards will be offered: USDF Introductory Level A&B FEI Level Dressage USEF Training Level SWFDA/USDF/USEF Freestyle USEF First Level USEF Recognized Show Award USEF Second Level SWFDA Team Award USEF Third Level Junior Young Rider Award*** USEF Fourth Level Adult Amateur Award*** ***Must Be Noted on Entry Form Non-SWFDA show scores will be accepted when a photocopy of the front of the dressage test is sent to the year-end scorekeeper. The photocopy must include: *Competition name & date *Horse’s name *Rider’s name *Judge’s name & signature *Raw score & percentage A copy of the inside of the dressage test may be needed for verification. Riders are urged to keep their tests in case additional information is required. The Board of Directors will make the final decision as to test validity. The scorekeeper will determine the average score. All averages will be published at the Year-End Awards party & in the CenterLine Newsletter. Year-end awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Party. Guidelines
Level Requirements USDF Introductory Level: Requires 4 scores to be averaged and scores must be from SWFDA shows. Introductory Level A scores must be earned prior to RIDER having ever competed above the Introductory Level. Introductory Level B candidates may have cantered in previous competition. USEF Training Level through Second Level: Requires 5 scores, with one score from the highest test of the level. The top 4 scores will be averaged. Averaged scores must be from SWFDA shows. (See #5 under Guidelines) USEF Third Level & Fourth Level: Requires 3 scores, with one score from the highest test of the level. The top 2 scores will be averaged. (See #5 under Guidelines) FEI Level: Requires 3 scores. Scores may be from any combination of FEI levels. The top 2 scores will be averaged. Averaged scores must be from SWFDA shows. (See #5 under Guidelines) SWFDA/USDF/USEF Freestyle: Requires 3 scores from the same level. The top 2 scores will be averaged. Averaged scores must be from SWFDA shows. (See #5 under Guidelines) SWFDA/USDF/USEF Pas De Deux: Requires 3 scores from the same level. The top 2 scores will be averaged. Averaged scores must be from SWFDA shows. (See #5 under Guidelines) USEF Recognized Show Award: Requires scores from a minimum of 3 judges & a minimum of 2 different USEF shows. Training level through Forth Level requires 6 scores. FEI level requires 4 scores. Scores may be from any combination of levels and can include Open, Maiden, Qualifying, Amateur, Novice, Limited, Junior/Young Rider, and Freestyle classes. USDF Introductory classes do not count. If SWFDA holds a recognized show, one score must be from that show. Team Award: The team will consist of 4 Horse/Rider combinations. A minimum of 2 scores are required from each horse/rider combination, with a minimum of 12 scores overall. Horse/Rider combinations can ride in either 1 or 2 consecutive levels. The team must be declared prior to any scores being earned. Team scores will be available in the newsletter. Teams are eligible to win this year-end award an unlimited number of times. Junior/Young Rider & Adult Amateur Awards: Requires 4 scores from SWFDA shows in any combination of levels. Placing will be determined by the average score. JR/Young Rider & Adult Amateur status MUST be declared on EACH show entry form.
